‘Abd al-Husayn Mu‘azzaz al-Mulk (Taymurtash) writes to Surur al-Saltanah probably from Khurasan, in which he explains why he had missed the postman since he had gone to the suburbs of Mashhad to oversee his properties and got stuck because of the snow. He mentions how much he misses her and complains that when he was in Tehran and insisted on seeing Surur al-Saltanah, she would put it off and now that he is away she says that she misses him, and he asks her whether she will agree to meet with him when he is back. Riza Quli Khan Nizam al-Saltanah to Khadijah Sultan
Riza Quli Khan Nizam al-Saltanah writes to his wife, Khadijah Sultan, and mentions the battles he has been fighting with Qavam al-Mulk in Fars. He complains that his wife does not write often enough or is angry with him when she does. He talks about how lucky they are to have Farmanfarma's son as their son-in-law. Riza Quli Khan then discusses Zahra Sultan's dowry and the amount of cash he can pay. He has attached a list of objects, including household furnishings and silverware, that they can provide.

Petition of Haydar Khan's wife to Shuja‘ Al-Dawlah, 1914
Petition by the wife of Haydar Khan (from Sarab) to Shuja‘ Al-Dawlah, who complains that her husband left her to live in Sarab seven years ago, one year after their marriage. He neither comes back nor pays her alimony. She mentions her previous complaints were to no avail and urges Shuja‘ Al-Dawlah to order Haydar Khan to take her to Sarab or pay her alimony or divorce her. On the margin, Shuja‘ Al-Dawlah has ordered Isma‘il Khan Amir Tuman to rectify her situation.
